THE MIXING HAS STARTED!
Last week was the first part of the mixing of Thaurorod's upcoming album! Drums, bass, rhythm guitars, basic keyboards and all the vocals were mixed at D-Studio. Read more from the band's blog in here.

THAUROROD ENTER THE STUDIO TODAY!
The melodic metal warriors THAUROROD will enter the studio today to start the recordings for their new album which will be released in 2013. The album will be recorded with the new singer Andi Kravljaca. The recordings will take place for the first time ever in a studio at THAUROROD's home city Hyvinkää in Rockstar Productions.
The band comments:
"Finally the time has come! We are proud to announce that THAUROROD will enter the studio for drum recordings of 2nd studio album today on 29th ofNovember! The band is feeling stronger than ever! We have had pretty hectic rehearsel period over the last weeks and the songs sound absolutely fucking mind-blowing!

NEW SINGER ANNOUNCED! PRESENTATION VIDEO ONLINE!
Within the last month the melodic metal warriors THAUROROD have been looking for a new singer. Now the search is over and the band is proud to announce the new singer named Andi Kravljaca.

That´s what the band says about the new singer:
"As you might know it hasn't been too easy for us with the previous
vocalists. Facing a vocalist change is never easy and facing a lot of them is just something really hard for a band.
We went through a lot of vocalist candidates and wanted to pick a guy who can really kill on stage and who is reliable and we can count on him to deliver his 110% input now and always. We wanted to find a guy who is not only our new vocalist but also our very last!
We are so relieved to be able to announce our new vocalist finally! Ladies and gentlemen, the new frontman of Thaurorod is Andi Kravljaca! We made 2 shows with Andi in Finland warming up for Wintersun and everything felt amazing and we had so much fun together! He easily impressed the band and the audiences with his energetic performances on both shows...what a crazy dude on stage!"

SINGER AUDITIONS!
Thaurorod is looking for a new vocalist/frontman.
We expect from you the following:
1. You have great singing skills.
2. You want to achieve the same goals as we as part of the band and you are
willing to work for it as the rest of the group!
3. You have to be awesome on stage.
4. You have to be a nice guy so you get along with us and with others and
it's easy to work with you.
5. You are able to tour at least few months in a year.
6. You are about 20-35-year-old man.
Bonus: You can record your vocals at home and you can create vocal melodies
for our songs.

PART WAYS WITH SINGER MICHELE LUPPI!
Finnish power metallers THAUROROD and singer Michele Luppi part ways and
they are now looking for a proper replacement.
Commented the band:
"Unfortunately we have had to let Luppi go as he don't have enough time for
Thaurorod and we just see it impossible to go on with him. He is an
phenomenal vocalist and we wanted to give him time to complete his duties
with Thaurorod. Finally we realized that a right thing to do is to continue
with someone more motivated who shares the same passion and hunger to go on
with Thaurorod as the rest of the band."

QUEST FOR POWER SCHEDULE CHANGED
There have been some changes for QUEST FOR POWER event taking place on Saturday 29th October in Dom, Helsinki. Unfortunately MERGING FLARE had to cancel their performance. There will be 2 other bands to back up for them: DOMINATION BLACK and ADAMANTRA.
The new schedule for the evening will be:

POWER OF METAL TOUR ENDED + NEW PRESS PIC AVAILABLE
Finnish power metallers THAUROROD recently ended their tour with SYMPHONY X, NEVERMORE, PSYCHOTIC WALTZ and MERCENARY. The following statement was released by the band:
"We just came back home from the incredible POWER OF METAL tour and I can tell you it was so great in every way! It was nice to tour for the first time with Michele and to play for the great audiences allover Europe, thank you so much! Because of you we are impatiently looking forward to get back on the road again! Meanwhile it's time to start working on the 2nd Thaurorod album..." THAUROROD
Last week the band introduced their new keyboardist Vili Ollila, now new press pictures have been released. After releasing their debut album „Upon Haunted Battlefields" in September 2010 via NoiseArt Records, the band is currently in writing mode and a new album is expected to be released early 2012.
